Scheduling your maternity photography session

Maternity portraits are typically done around 32-36 weeks of pregnancy. At this point, your belly is beautifully round and you’re still feeling comfortable enough to move around and do various poses. Of course, we try our best to allow flexibility in our calendar for last-minute openings and your maternity portraits may be captured up until the last week of pregnancy however we suggest booking as soon as possible to guarantee availability. With your glowing skin and lustrous hair, there’s no time more beautiful in a woman’s life. Timing can be different for everyone, so please be in touch as soon as possible to book your appointment.

We only do what you are comfortable with. Many clients like to capture a combination of both clothed and semi-nude or nude portraits. We have numerous wardrobe options from beautiful gowns to lacey tops and flowing skirts. If you’d like to bring along your own clothes, some options that compliment the pregnant body well are a maxi skirt with a bandeau bra, skinny jeans with a fitted top, empire-waist dresses, or pretty lingerie.
We specialize in newborn and maternity. so we understand how to pose a pregnant woman in ways that are most flattering for you. We pay attention to detail and take time to carefully perfect each pose. We will help guild you through your shoot to capture your best angles. Although most of the shoot is focussed on you we are more than happy and often encourage your husband and children (if you have) to come in for a portrait with you. Once your maternity session has been booked, you’ll be receiving our Welcome Packet & Pinterest Board with a ton of inspiration for your session.
